Instructions for Participants
    Trade and Investment Promotion Activities of 2015 Eurasia Commodity and Trade Expo

    The trade and investment promotion activities of 2015 Eurasia Commodity and Trade Expo (hereinafter referred to as EACT EXPO 2015) will be conducted as follows at Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center (hereinafter referred to as the Convention & Exhibition Center) from August 12 to 16, 2015:

    I. Promotion Conference

    1. Regional promotion conference

    The exhibition organizers from all domestic provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and all prefectures and cities in Xinjiang can hold the regional promotion conference using the platform of trade and investment promotion activities to introduce their politics, economy, culture and other aspects to the exhibitors and participators, to show the status of development and achievements of their agriculture, industry, service industry and correlated industry, to popularize their top quality companies and characteristic industries, to promote the inter-governmental, inter-enterprise and government-enterprise communication, and thus to know each other well and increase the mutual trust.

    2. Project promotion conference

    The exhibition organizers and exhibitors from all domestic provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and all prefectures and cities in Xinjiang can select and promote the high-quality projects of their regions and their own enterprises to other exhibitors and participators so as to attract more interested businessmen to invest in related industries and also effectively increase the contracting rate of projects related. By means of project promotion, the information resources sharing can be realized in different provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, laying a solid foundation for communication and long-term cooperation after the Expo.

    3. Special promotion conference of exhibitors


    There are four exhibition areas in total at EACT EXPO 2015. In order to implement the trade and investment promotion activities, the Organizing Committee of the Expo proposes to organize the special promotion activities at each exhibition area of EACT EXPO 2015 in light of the type, number and characteristics of the exhibitors at each exhibition area as well as the size of domestic and overseas professional visitors of these exhibitors. Each exhibitor can apply for holding the promotion conference and inviting the professional visitors.

    4. Project signing ceremony and activities

    The exhibition organizers from all domestic provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and all prefectures and cities in Xinjiang can perform the centralized contracting ceremony of inland associated, foreign trade and foreign-funded projects using the platform of trade and investment promotion activities of EACT EXPO 2015 to strengthen the economic and trade cooperation between Xinjiang and provinces and cities with fellowship, positively promote the “Bringing-in” and “Going-out” strategies for foreign trade and foreign investment, publicize and promote the contracting projects in a concentrated manner and promote the project implementation.

    5. Other related forums and conferences

    The organizations concerned and exhibitors from all domestic provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and all prefectures and cities in Xinjiang can hold other related forums and conferences based on the actual situation.

    II. Venue

    Conference rooms of the Convention & Exhibition Center

    Notes:

    1. Considering the major site renewal following the summit forum, no trade and investment promotion activities are arranged at the multi-function hall on the 5th floor on August 12. The corresponding activities can be held at other conference rooms appropriately. All conference rooms are open for trade and investment promotion activities from August 13 to 16. In principle, more than four conferences are not allowed in the same period of time while one conference room can accommodate maximum three conferences each day.

    2. The lecture hall is for standby.

    3. The conference rooms of the Convention & Exhibition Center are provided by the Organizing Committee for free use.

    4. The “first reserved, first served” principle applies to the rental of the conference rooms. If a conference room in the required period of time has been reserved upon registration, it will be coordinated in unification manner by the Investment and Exhibition Promotion Department after communication.

    5. Since the conference rooms are limited, each exhibition organizer and enterprise needs to reserve the room as soon as possible.

    6. Each exhibition organizer and enterprise can organize various activities at the self-arranged site during EACT EXPO 2015. However, an application is required for various related activities using the name of promotion activities of the Expo. No such activities shall be held until getting permission from the Expo.

    III. Media Support

    During the trade and investment promotion activities, the Publicity Department of the Organizing Committee will provide publicity service for these activities. The exhibitors and participators having publicity and reporting needs have to indicate it in Media Support column of Registration Form of Trade and Investment Promotion Activities of EACT EXPO 2015, and return receipt to the Investment and Exhibition Promotion Department of the Organizing Committee within the specified time.

    IV. Conference Room Configuration, Rental of Hardware Facilities and Advertising Support

    1. Provided that the technicians and supplementary equipment are already in place, the simultaneous interpretation equipment is only available for partial conference rooms on the 5th floor.

    2. The conference room services include rostrum service (personnel seating at rostrum is provided with tea, mineral water, towel, paper and pen), basic lighting (house light), basic stereo equipment (maximum 3 wireless microphones and 3 gooseneck microphones are provided per conference, the quantity of which can be increased approximately if there are fewer conferences held in the same period of time).

    3. Each organizer should control the exhibit arrangement time within two hours and possibly reduce the arrangement contents on account of numerous trade and investment promotion activities and limited site renewal time.

    4. Being affected by the site and number of activities, it’s proposed to make the advertising contents in unification manner for stage, background and guidance system arrangement at the site so as to reduce the site renewal time.

    5. Other charging items include tea break, buffet, mineral water, tea, podium, projection equipment, simultaneous interpretation equipment, flowers and green plants, etc.

    Note: each organizer needs to submit the Declaration Form of Trade and Investment Promotion Activities of EACT EXPO 2015 to the Expo before July 20.
