Meanwhile, don’t forget to follow our news on volunteers for the 5th China-Eurasia Expo. Today we will introduce our propaganda department with main responsibility for image design, publicity and brand building, as well as news of the Expo. The work of the department covers three parts: (1)before the Expo, to make publicity plans and promotion together with investment department, and organize major publicity campaign in line with timetable. For example, during the press conference of the 5th China-Eurasia held by the State Council Information Office of P.R China, the department organize domestic and foreign media interview; (2)during the Expo, cooperating with the Expo Executive Committee, the work department will arrange media to conduct comprehensive and in-depth news coverage, take responsibility for their receptions and work out emergency plans ; and (3)after the Expo, the department will sum up the successful experience for the preparation of the next Expo. Well, what kind of work does interns do? Here we take a look.
Lu Yan (Intern)—From Xinjiang Normal University
I work at the propaganda department where all persons are friendly. Most part of my daily work is doing paper work, checking documents or information and conveying them to other departments. All the work require me be highly patient and careful. Sometimes a same file needs to be changed for many times because of various reasons. What I’ve learned is dealing with the task at hand in accordance with situation. Now, there are only 26 days before the opening of the 5th China-Eurasia Expo. I’ve been on job for 52 days or 1248 hours, and the distance between where I work and my home is 472.3km. Although often feeling homesick, I don’t be pity for not going home. And give my best wish to those volunteers. Finally, I wish the 5th China-Eurasia Expo a great success.
Liu Hui (Intern)—From Xingjiang Normal University
Through a rigorous selection, I finally become one of interns for the preparation of Expo at the Expo Affairs Bureau. I’ve been worked here for about two months so far. During that period, I’ve made a lot of friends from different universities and passionate colleagues working at the Bureau. My major is Digital Media Arts with highly relevant with news media. In order to use the knowledge in practice and improve my work and analysis ability, I choose to be an intern of the propaganda department. That is a great opportunity for me to lay solid foundation of professional knowledge and increase social experience. Personally speaking, I have more inward character, but through the internship, I seize that opportunity to exercise the courage, improve my communication skills and enhance my service ability of office. The most important thing is that I hope I can have a better and further understanding of beautiful scenes in Xijiang.
Di Li Hu Ma Er (Intern)—From Xinjiang University
As a sophomore with major of MBA in the College of Economics and Business Administration, Xinjiang University, I’m honored to participate in internship for the 5th China-Eurasia Expo, and to be one intern at the propaganda department. My daily work is printing documents and arranging files. By doing those work, I’ve learned that how to draw up a notice, and how to communicate with colleagues more efficiently. Besides, I also have made a lot of new friends, and we share working experience with each other. During about two months of internship, I live each day to the fullest. In the next period, with the spirit of diligence, I will try my best to continue working hard till the last minute of the 5th China-Eurasia Expo. Finally, I wish the 5th China-Eurasia Expo a great success.
Xia Yi Nu Er (Intern)—From Xinjiang University
I’m from School of Business and Management at Xinjiang University. Since August, as an intern, I’ve been working at the propaganda department for the preparation of the 5th China-Eurasia Expo. At the department, all colleagues are cordial to me and help me to do better. Meanwhile, my interpersonal and communication skills have been improved. Besides, what I’ve learned is that when doing a job, we need take it seriously. In the next weeks, I will do my best for the preparation of the Expo.
